FAVE FIVE: WHEN IN ROME
Rome in 5 days, but who's counting?!
I leave in five days, and somewhere between checking the forecast and editing my packing list (again), I’ve realized I keep coming back to the same feeling: effortless, feminine, and just a little romantic.
Lately, I’ve been gravitating toward pieces that do the heavy lifting on their own. A beautiful linen set (jacket and skort) in the dreamiest buttery hue has completely captured my attention. It’s the kind of outfit I want to throw on for a morning espresso, an afternoon spent wandering through little side streets, or a dinner that turns into gelato and a long walk home. Those are always my favorite kinds of evenings.
Speaking of dinner, I can’t stop thinking about this beaded clutch. Paired with a simple suede sandal, it strikes that balance I’m always chasing—classic with a little personality. The piece I know I’ll be wearing on repeat, though, is a green aventurine necklace I’ve been eyeing. The soft green somehow works with everything in my suitcase, adding just enough color while still feeling timeless. It’s one of those everyday pieces that quietly becomes part of your signature, and I have a feeling this one won’t leave my neck.

Instead of chasing trends, I’m drawn to pieces with beautiful textures, thoughtful details, and the kind of versatility that makes getting dressed feel easy. If this trip has a color palette, it’s buttery yellows, soft neutrals, warm suede, touches of green, and golden-hour light.
Now tell me... if you were packing for Rome, what’s the one piece you’d absolutely have to bring? Because if there’s one thing I love almost as much as planning a trip, it’s hearing what’s on everyone else’s packing list.
