AT HOME WITH MOLLY: THE LIVING ROOM EDIT
For the first time ever, I’m going to OVER share. Shop my personal living room (vintage included) and dive deeper into my thought process.
Welcome to my living room—one of my favorite spaces in the house and a labor of love I’ve been dying to share. This room represents everything I adore about quiet luxury—every detail feels personal, thoughtful, and just a little indulgent. And for the first time ever, I’m going to over share because this home, my sanctuary, is also a living showroom for our clients and now, all of you.
When designing this space, I made it a priority to work with my favorite sensible brands, selecting only high-quality products that I trust wholeheartedly in both my home and my work. I know so many of you are curious about the sources behind the designs, and while we’ve always held back due to confidentiality and privacy, this moment feels like the right one to open up.
This is an exciting and personal opportunity to share more than I ever have before—a peek behind the curtain of the thoughtful details that make this space feel not just luxurious, but lived-in and loved. I hope you enjoy this glimpse into the heart of my home:
Let’s start with this “before”. The ceilings and window(s) used to be an afterthought, but now they’re a defining feature, framing the most incredible natural light and oak surroundings.

The views now dance across the Venetian plaster walls that glow in this soft, almost magical way—like coastal fog caught in the morning sun. I’ve always been obsessed with Venetian plaster; it’s one of those materials that doesn’t just sit there—it shimmers, it whispers, it makes you pause. It’s become a must in every MKS project…
The fireplace was a major decision. I moved it to the center of the room and gave it a sculptural limestone mantel that feels both timeless and modern. It’s one of those European-inspired pieces that looks like it’s always been here, grounding the room with this effortless sense of permanence. And the drapery—oh, the drapery. A big thanks to Everhem for these layers of sheer linen cascading down, framing views of lush greenery outside. I love how it blurs the lines between indoors and out, making it feel like nature is part of the design.
Every piece of furniture and artful object in here has a story. Most are vintage treasures I hunted for years, others are sleek, contemporary pieces that bring a fresh balance to the space. Together, they create this soulful interplay—old meets new, nostalgia meets now. It’s a mix that feels like me.
